Visiting Malta in late October

Hi everyone. I am visiting Malta in October & would like to get some tips from locals as well as travellers who are familiar with Malta. My first question is, is there a ferry to Malta from Sicily (as I am coming from Italy)? What part of Malta is it best to base myself in? I am a budget traveller & my interests are nature/ beaches, art/ culture/ architecture, and food. Your tips would be much appreciated. Thanks.

EU trip in October

G'day folks! I've locked in flights to the EU this October & would be keen to get this community's insights and tips to have the best time seeing EU again (my last travel there was 3 years ago). I am a budget traveler & my interests are culture, food, history, beaches, nature, art and architecture. I will be landing in Rome (I have been to Rome before) so would only be spending around 2 days there, as well as in Venice (the beauty I saw then is just pulling me back to this famed canal city). On this trip, I also plan to see Portugal & Malta, which I have never visited before. My departure city going back will be Oslo. I have 3 weeks in total for this trip. Could anyone throw in their suggestions how to go about this trip, and any additional places (within or in addition to Italy, Malta, Portugal & Norway) on the way that I could squeeze in moving to the next destination/s, taking into consideration my interests. Likewise, tips on whether trains or flying within EU to those countries would be ideal, as well as tips to minimise accommodation costs. Thanks heaps in advance.

Addendum: Oslo is the departing city because a rare bargain flight was found & booked from Oslo into Southeast Asia. This traveler is an Australian who lives in Sydney. Please comment for real insights & useful constructive tips.

Wise as travel money

Hello there from Sydney, AU. I have just created a Wise account and activated a Wise card to use in my upcoming trip to South Korea. I am just a bit confused as KRW (Korean Won) isn't listed in the currencies that Wise support (ie, cannot hold and receive) - yet on the Wise app, there is an option to convert AUD (AU$) loaded onto the Wise account/ card into KRW. Can anyone confirm I can use my Wise card in Seoul, once I had converted my AUD funds into KRW? Also, what is a foolproof way to test if the card will work once I land in Seoul (ie, test the card before leaving Australia). Your tips would be appreciated. :)

Seoul to Busan

I will be in South Korea next month, spending a few days in Seoul then going to Busan for a few days then back to Seoul. I am keen to take the train to Busan. In terms of prices, how much are they roughly and how long is the ride to Busan? What is the difference between KTX and SRT if they are both train networks? Is one faster and more expensive? Do I need to prebook? Any info would be appreciated.
