Ltv 1150 to the Astral 150
Hello all. I’m new to this whole Reddit thing so idk if this is the right place but I’m a ventilator user only at night and I stayed in the hospital to switch from the ltv to the astral. The problem I’m having with the astral is water collecting in the tubing with the dual tubing circuit. I have the humidifier set to the lowest setting and it still produces a lot of water. With my ltv I have the single circuit with water trap and just lift up the tubing to empty the water back into the humidifier chamber. I can’t do that with the astral and I’m told there are no tubing with water traps for it. I don’t know what to do. I’ve talked to my RT and my doctors and they don’t seem to have a solution for me. I’m not sure I’m going be able to switch over. Any one have any advice? I asked about heated in wire circuits but my RT said that prolly won’t be an option. Thanks
