I have had these persistent red/dark marks under my nose for years. A derm recently diagnosed me with perioral dermatitis and prescribed me doxycycline and metronidazole gel.

I don’t think there was any change during or after the doxycycline and not sure if the gel is working. It doesn’t burn or feel irritated. It looks more like a stain. Please help
