Barrier butter reformulation?

I got my first BB mini bottle about 6 months ago and I loved the sticky, almost hard to spread texture. I got a new mini bottle last month and this one seems way thinner and easier to spread instead of tap in, but i cant find any info on a formula change. Does anyone know what might have happened?

Retinol 1% in squalene all over body

I love the texture and oil finish of this product and because it’s cheap compared to ret body lotions, I’ve been using it on my chest, shoulders and front of thighs every day. I bought it specifically for the legs because I’m noticing major skin laxity in my thirties.

No irritation. Any reason I shouldn’t be doing this?

Learn from my mistake

I was told by multiple urgent cares, PCP and eventually an ENT that I just had ETD. Something just felt wrong and when I finally got my hearing test done, turns out it was sensorineural (inner ear, so most likely not just ETD).
Now I’m getting weekly steroid shots in my eardrum with about 50/50 chance of regaining hearing.
Better safe than sorry! Get in with an audiologist right away, just in case. ♥️

What would you have done differently?

I have had muffled hearing and ringing in one ear for two months. I’ve wasted a ton of time after seeing a completely dismissive ENT who told me my hearing loss was conductive, yet that it was most likely early Menieres (though I have no vertigo). Maybe he meant cochlear hydrops, but that was never said. I felt like something wasn’t right and got a new hearing test today and it is in fact sensorineural. The audiologist said sensorineural is often permanent which scared me.

I have a second opinion ENT on Wednesday. I’ve read many things about timing being crucial and I might be out of the range of steroids helping, but that the steroid shot into the eardrum might still be useful. Also read about oxygen chambers, etc.

My question is, if you had hydrops before Menieres and magically knew right away, what would you have asked your ENT for? I want to make sure I’m asking all the right questions as early as possible.

Thank you for the long read. I’m comforted to not be alone in this.

Feeling hopeless: conductive loss with normal tympanogram

Not sure what I’m looking for here but I’m struggling. It’s been 2 months of muffled hearing and nonstop ringing. I’m withdrawing at work and my thoughts are completely consumed with what may be going on.

After two rounds of antibiotic and two rounds of steroids, my ENT did a hearing test and found low frequency hearing loss, normal tympanogram, normal CT scan apart from trace sinus disease (on the opposite side ethmoid sinuses).

Today he said he thinks it’s early Menieres disease. Would not consider any other type of imaging or scope. He called me “sweetie”, was very dismissive. I’m not experiencing vertigo and with the hearing loss seemingly conductive, I don’t understand this and feel completely unheard.

I’ll be getting a second opinion. Has anyone had these symptoms with this kind of testing (conductive loss yet normal tympanogram)?

And just want to say I’m thinking of those that are frustrated tonight!

Do more games like Horizon exist?

I’m pretty new to gaming—I play on easy and have finished only a couple games. I loved HZD and HFW.

I also really enjoyed Frontiers of Pandora, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Stray and Hogwarts Legacy (what started it all for me!).

I like minimal combat and even better if I can be far away (always used arrows with Horizon). I like being a female character if possible, and enjoy some whimsy and exploration.

I tried Ghost of Yotei with the blood turned off but it was still too heavy for me. 🥲 I liked riding the horse though. Any animals element is a plus!

I may be asking for too much!! Thoughts?
