Losing the ant war in South Austin

These little assholes blocked the entrance to the Terro with dust bunnies and hair. Do I have teenage mutant ninja ants that are resistant to Terro or understand that it's poison? I've seen them carry debris to the open end, but I've never seen one of these completely blocked. How do I get rid of them?

LPT: keep a cheap night light in your luggage to use in your hotel room

I hate waking up in the night and having to turn on a lamp to navigate a hotel room's unfamiliar layout. I pack a dim LED nightlight that gives off just enough light so I can make my way to the bathroom without hitting my pinky toe on a piece of furniture (but doesn't blind me like turning on the lights). Shoutout to hotels that have motion sensor lights on the bottom of their night stands -- they're the real MVPs.
