First Game & 3D Bling
Big day for my son and I...our first game. Since it's rare that I can spend a day gaming, I did a quick slapchop paint job of the troops over a few days beforehand. Since I own a 3D printing business, I had to do some 3D upgrades for the settlements, mountains and Mount Doom :-) I had created a set of strongholds (& havens) for the Fate of the Fellowship board game, so I adapted those for WOTR. They take a small LED light underneath so you can see them easily, as well as who they belong to red/blue.
It was a fun game! Since we were both new and he wasn't getting much movement luck with the dice, he ended up taking a couple of my strongholds for the free peoples win after 5 hours. It was fun, I look forward to future plays!
