Streaker Mast Repair
Hi everyone, looking for some advice on the state of the mast of my (new to me) streaker. While going around the mast to tackle the pitting, I noticed this hole which is concerning me. The hole itself is roughly 7mm in diameter at its widest.
A local dinghy sailor recommended to go over the area with a wire brush before cleaning it with acetone and filling in the hole with chemical metal or epoxy fiber. Would this be sufficient?
