I’m looking for a stiffer, fast action 9wt fly rod blank. I’m leaning more towards a salt water blank just towards the action, but I am open to anything. The rod will be for Pacific Salmon, but I am often casting heavy sink tips and flies, so the fast action is an absolute must. Any recommendations help.

Can anyone confirm that you do NOT need to provide a USCG approved code with an American Red Cross specific First Aid CPR certificate for an MMC ?

This is something I was told I just want to make sure it’s true. It was said that Red Cross and AHA don’t require a code and are already pre approved by the CG
