2026 Jetta s Issue every time it rains and is windy
Hey all!
I am on mobile so format won’t be great. I bought a brand new Jetta s in march I had it for maybe a month and we got a nasty wind and rain storm. I go into my car after work to start it and the auto start/stop gave an error then it said my engine was over heating. I shut it off I knew it wasn’t truly overheating but whatever. It was towed to a dealer where it sat for a month they told me it was the engine temperature sensor and replaced it.
Fast forward to today which is about 2 weeks later we had another rain and wind storm and I go and get in my car to go to work and bam the same issue. I do want to mention we had a nasty storm last night too and I had no issue.
I am just wondering if any of you had this issue and what I should do. I did make an appointment on Monday for my car to be looked at. I’m really upset as I love the car but I’m frustrated at the same time.
