Where can I watch Şahsiyet (Persona) in India?
I'm relatively new to Turkish shows and have mostly been watching commercial dizis so far besides few netflix and amazon prime ones. I've been recommended Şahsiyet (Persona) and it sounds much more like the kind of series I'm looking for.
The problem is that I can't seem to find it on any legal streaming service available in India.
For anyone in India who has watched it:
- Is it currently available on any streaming platform here?
- If not, is there a legitimate international service accessible from India?
- Ideally looking for Turkish audio + English subtitles.
Would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!
When does winter season start?
I read the report that daha 17 will pause after 13 episodes and resume in winter season.
When is that?
Ata Yasat / Teoman from Daha 17 interview
Just watched Ata Yaşat's interview and found some of his answers about his career, life and the character that he portrays in daha 17 - Teoman pretty interesting
Some highlights:
- born in Ankara on August 30, 2002.
- he's studying computer engineer and apparently did an intership / work remotely for a AI based software company from USA.
- Studied unstable characters like alex delarge from clockwork orange, heath ledger's joker etc for teoman role.
- Went from 13k to 1M insta followers in the time daha 17 has aired.
- His finger was almost cut off when it went under a 40kg dumbbell.
- He has a motto : you wanted something. If you get it, enjoy it. If you don't, then that means something better will come to you later ( turkish people on this sub - please help with an accurate translation !! )
- one personal characteristic of his that he would like to improve is obsessiveness ( the one thing I could relate, since i am also obsessive - maybe because we share the same zodiac sign )
Four babies, two sets of twins, one friend group
We've know that Aras and Teoman are twins, and that Leyla also had a twin who unfortunately died.
So if I'm understanding everything correctly - since all are in the same class in school, that means we have:
Aras + Teoman - twin brothers
Leyla + her deceased twin - another pair of twins
All four were born around the same time
Each pair born to two close friends ( hakan + aras's father )
I know it's a dizi and we're obviously not supposed to treat every coincidence as realistic, but this one really made me stop and think.
Mahanagar Gas scam involving APK installation and banking fraud - Has anyone else seen this?
Posting this as a warning and also to check if anyone else in Mumbai has come across a similar scam.
A relative of mine recently experienced what appears to be a sophisticated scam involving a fake Mahanagar Gas pending bill.
The sequence was roughly:
- A pending bill SMS was received.
- A few days later, a caller claiming to be from Mahanagar Gas called and said the connection would be disconnected unless the bill was paid.
- The caller sent an APK file over WhatsApp and guided the person to install it.
- During the payment process, multiple payment methods were tried but all appeared to fail.
- Soon afterwards, unauthorised banking OTPs and transaction attempts started appearing.
- A suspicious app was later found on the Android phone, along with call forwarding having been enabled without the user’s knowledge.
- Multiple banking and financial service OTPs were generated over the next several hours, resulting in unauthorized transactions before all accounts could be secured.
- Cybercrime complaints were filed, banks were informed, and the phone was eventually factory reset.
A few takeaways:
- Never install an APK sent over WhatsApp or by someone claiming to be customer support.
- Genuine companies generally do not ask customers to install apps this way.
- If an unknown APK is installed on a phone used for banking, it’s safest to immediately contact all banks, secure your accounts, and factory reset the device.
Has anyone else encountered this exact pattern involving Mahanagar Gas, or is this scam being carried out using other utility providers as well?
Would also be interested to know if anyone has information on what type of Android malware is typically used in scams like this and whether the police/banks were able to recover funds in similar cases.
New to Turkish dizis - looking for enemies to lovers recommendations like Teoman & Deniz in Daha 17
Daha 17 is my first Turkish dizi, and I'm surprisingly enjoying it.
I have liked TeoDen scenes and understand now that it's a trope called enemies to lovers.
I'm looking for other Turkish dizis with a strong enemies to lover stuff.
The only other one I've heard of is Araz ve Aylin, but I haven't watched that show because I saw it has 41 episodes.
Any recommendations? I don't mind older shows, but I'd prefer something where the chemistry and character development are the main focus.
Will Aras realise that Teoman is Demir in Episode 10?
In the EP10 fragmani, Aras accidentally knocks over the photo frame at the Akkaya house.
Do you think he'll actually see the photo and realise that Teoman is Demir, or will the writers drag out the reveal?
Deniz letter in episode 7 Daha 17
What did deniz write in the letter in episode 7. I only understood it's something related to aras. ( As is everything in the show ). But the translation didn't make any sense.
Did anyone understand?
Deniz and Nuray from Daha 17
So, i just started watching this. At episode 2. Watching with auto translated sub titles. So was wondering about the relation between Nuray and Deniz. First episode i thought she's her mother. But, it seems, she's her sister from episode 2 subtitles.
No alcaraz, no sinner, no djokovic. Is Roland garros 2026 actually wide open?
Alcaraz didn't play because of the wrist injury. Sinner is out in R2. Djokovic is out in R3.
So by Round 4, the three biggest names and probably the three biggest title favorites are all gone.
The obvious reaction is: "The draw is completely open now."
But is it really?
Every time a major gets blown open, we immediately say anyone can win. Then a week later someone like Zverev, Felix, Ruud or another top contender ends up taking control anyway.
Are we looking at a genuine chaos Slam where a surprise champion becomes realistic, or are we overreacting because the biggest names are gone and the remaining top players are being underrated?
Who's your pick right now?
