First raw fleece

I was generously gifted this entire fleece by my partner’s friend who has a small hobby farm. He was unclear as to the type of sheep but he knew it was at least half Icelandic and maybe half Shetland or he mentioned Hebrides. Can anyone tell by look at these not fantastic pics if it looks entirely Icelandic? It seems to have the dual coat. Also does it look like it’s in relatively good shape to process besides it being dirty?

I just bought a Majacraft rose and it’s a lovely wheel but I’m a bit confused about how to set the ratios with the pulley whorls vs the grooves on the drive wheel. I have a louet Victoria and it is very uncomplicated as there are only three choices of where to move my drive band so i haven’t had the experience with how this works when you have both drive wheel grooves and a pulley system to move around. I’ve been searching for info but I’m still not quite sure i understand correctly. Should I set the whirl on the pulley first (faster being smaller whorl) and then use the grooves on the wheel to fine tune? Or are they supposed to align with outermost whirl with outermost groove and keep them sort of aligned in that manner?
