Never seen this before

Of all the cities I’ve ever lived in, I’ve never had people lay on the horn when me or my neighbors slow down to pull into our driveways. Our street is relatively busy; it’s a cut through route between to major roads. Nowhere but (west side) Lansing have I ever seen people act like this on a residential street. What’s wrong with drivers here?

Contractor recommendations

I’m moving to the area this month. The home I’m moving into needs some work done on the front facade. The front porch overhang needs some new siding and structural improvements. Any recommendations on good folks to do it?

Why would it go on like this?

I’m in the market for a new home and was doing some house tours today. One of the ranches that I looked at had easy access to the attic area. The home in question had zero insulation up there. I was shocked. Is this common? And why has no one ever installed any? Heating bills must be absurd.
