Ear infections (otitis) hope!
We have been dealing with otitis for 5+ years. When i tell you that we have tried everything, I really mean it. Over the counter, prescription, specialty vets, sedated cleanings, CT scans, all of it. The final thing we were about to try was immunotherapy but we may not need to go that route now.
We decided to give a probiotic a try because of a recomendation from a pet store employee. I've been very cautiously optimistic about the results. But, its been a couple of months. I have never seen his ears in better condition then they are today.
I am hoping that this holds up through the fall, as that seems to be the season that we really go into a spiral with infections. But looking at how healthy his ears FINALLY are, I am ecstatic . I get emotional thinking about how relieved this poor guy must feel after all he's been through.
For the person that was me 5 years ago searching the corners of the internet for relief, please give a probiotic a try before you put yourself and your pup what we went through.
