The term bounce
Where did the term bounce as in «bounce to disk» that Pro Tools uses originate? Isnt it a weird verb to use to explain what is being done?

I have experienced the 5 hour time outs plenty of times the last week, but last night I suddenly got a 10 hour time out for asking it to continue a thing it had paused.
I am working in Claude chat. Is there a better mode for making apps?
I have no experience programming, but have had success making it work on a mac app.
What I am doing if it is relevant:
I need an app for assisting with something in Pro Tools (audio app). I had Claude build a version of it last week that went very well. It was able to figure out some stuff in the session files and gave me a nifty little app. Pro Tools session files are encrypted, so it is quite fun that I got this far. The biggest hurdles was kind of making it give me a functioning stand alone installer. Not the decryption part, which was kind of surprising. A lot of back and forth, but got there in four days. A lot of waiting for the 5 hours pauses. Any way… Now I had more ideas for v2, and it has been way more difficult apparently. Which is fair. I ask more of it. But I see the Claude Code mode, and wonder if I am doing it wrong. Claude has not told me to move the project over to Code, and as I said, I have no experience coding.
Also Last night I had told it to continue with 5 hours intervals, several times, and suddenly it was 10 hours until next time. (Still waiting as of typing this.) Is this common if the task is really big?
So charming and good! The actors were great and the humanity of the story was really touching! Too bad it turned into a green screen cgi fest at the end, but still very entertaining!
We all agreed that there should have been a second one by now.
