JBL 4435 > Cornwall IVs

Well, after a brief final attempt at Klipsch (Cornwall IVs) ending with the same disappointment as the rest of their products I’ve owned, I’ve given up on the brand that got me into horns and fully committed to JBL and Altec in our household 😂.
I had some 4425s forever ago and loved the horns. These 4435s came up and I couldn’t miss the opportunity to own them. Dual 15” woofers, “Dolly Parton” horns, and enough cabinet volume to function as a refrigerator. Flat to about 25hz in room, phenomenal off axis performance from the biradial horn, what more could one ask for.
I’ve had them for about a week now and am truly impressed. I’ve had a LOT of gear in this room and these stand out. Not just due to their size.
Sometimes meeting your hero is a good thing, as long as it’s not Klipsch /s (kind of).
