There is a very unhealthy pattern I have noticed for a longggg time.
Anytime there is any female avatar that doesn’t have a retro/block build, no matter how well the avatar is dressed, is considered inappropriate or gets absolutely burnt in this sub. This has become an issue more and more to the point people are afraid to wear anything other non blocky avatars and/or post here.
I seen a post earlier of someone with an angel fit, wearing a long dress, that said they are being sexually harassed because of their look.. and this should never ok, but I immediately knew by the avatar that people would condone it, one comment went as far to basically say “you used a SEXUAL avatar, what did you expect?”
If these avatars alone was considered inappropriate, then why have they not been removed? People can wear what they want as long as they keep it safe for everyone playing the game and don’t go over board, but there is nothing wrong with using a non blocky avatar.
People should not be shamed for not wearing the avatars that is considered acceptable or the norm.. it has become the unspoken rules of this sub and it’s so sad to see that when people post anything except what’s now considered acceptable, it immediately receives unfair amounts of backlash even if it just a cool, unique, and interesting style.
I know I’m going to get absolutely blew up for this, but it’s something that has been bothering me for a while here, and I feel like it takes away the fun of this game bc now everyone is afraid of being sexualized/or being considered inappropriate when their just trying to have fun with outfits and being creative.
