Specifics about routing
Hello. Thanks for checking in. I’ve got questions about routing multiple synths with one keyboard.
Currently I play my Korg minilogue xd module with my Korg poly 800 acting as my controller. I’m thinking about swooping up an mpc one in my neighborhood to act as a sort of brain and drum machine for pretty cheap. With the money I’ll be saving, I’ll still have enough to get a teo-5 module.
I’d like to be able to toggle back and forth between synths. Is that possible? I’ve seen that there’s devices that will split the midi out. Do I need to create some kind of loop between the controller and the mpc? Will I still be able to use the mpc for drum samples if I’m potentially using it to route the controller thru?
I appreciate any help since I am still pretty green when it comes to making my gear talk and sync. Thank you!
