The central San Joaquin valley gets over 100° in the summer usually 108 average, unlike San Francisco which is only a 2hr drive that has cool fresh air constantly coming in off the ocean giving the whole bay area that fresh ocea and keeping the bay are temps below 90° all summer. Over here the San Joaquin valley span's almost as far north as Sacramento California at the north end and stretches South to about 270 miles and about 100 miles wide with the Sierra Nevada mountain range on the east side and the coastal mountains on the west side this valley is pretty huge, it's all farm land, which mean the whole valley smells like either fertilizer in other words smells like cow dodo or chicken dodo and the air is also full of other toxic chemicals used for farming that birth defects like down syndrome and autism. The air just sits stagnant across the whole valley because it's trapped between the two mountain ranges so it is very unhealthy for breathing. The cow & chicken manure smell is bad enough but its nothing compared to the smell of dead chicken carcasses near Foster the farms chicken processing plants now that one is tough smell to process when driving through Livingston certain times of year. Oh and here's the icing on the cake there are more children born with down syndrome and autism in the valley than most anywhere else if not anywhere else. Due to the pollution that's in the air caused by the toxic chemicals used on the farms.
Down syndrome and autism are opposite of each other in the fact that One of them makes the kids act like happy little angels that are always happy to follow the rules and do what is asked of them (that's down syndrome) and the other condition (autism) is the complete opposite making the children inflicted with it so hard to handle and dangerous. My Mom told me that when she worked at the school for these kids (Shelby School in Livingston CA.) that for every kid with autism they have to assign one healthy strong adult who's only job is to keep his eyes on that one kid and be ready to spring into action in case he or she tries to hurt someone. My mom used to call those guys "secret service". I had a friend that used to work with autistic kids and when I met him the whole left side of his face was scared looked exactly like it had been malled by a bears claw and he told me that years ago he tried to take an autistic kids dorrito chips from him because it wasn't time to eat and the kid malled his face with his bare fingers. Ok last tidbit, when recess was over at Shelby School and it was time for the kids to go back inside they would have two down syndrome kids (the good intelligent angel like ones) walking one in front of the other holding two poles like they were carrying someone on a stretcher with an autistic kid walking in between them and in between the poles to keep him from wandering off.
