So far I've been manually banning users I catch downloading the same song over and over again and it got me thinking - wouldn't it be great if we could compile and share a community blocklist of users engaging in this kind of behavior?

I acknowledge that this opens up a can of worms re: potential for abuse and people being unfairly added to such a list. My response to this is that people can simply change their usernames anyway, whereas if you're enough of a cavalier shithead to use these streaming clients in the first place, you probably aren't aware you can do that. And you also probably won't notice that you've been blocked in the first place.
