Issue with putting the laptop to sleep
Hello Everyone,
I have this weird bug that I might be from my GPU. Sometimes when couple of apps are running like vscode, thunderbird, texstudio and few other, my laptop gets stuck when I try to do suspend and it never suspends so I have to hard press the power button to hard shutdown it and lose all my unsaved work. This issue affects me badly as a data scientist running ML models and some stuff are still saved on the RAM and going for a quick break and suddenly having to hard reboot due to this weird bug I mentioned.
Has anyone experienced this weird bug and know a fix for it?
I really hope someone has a fix as I left Linux unfortunately due to the non fixable bugs I had with Fedora 43 then came back happily when fedora 44 launched hoping they fixed the bugs caused to nvidia laptops/pcs. Unfortunately while loving fedora kde plasma I had to leave as nvidia issues were there and from day one I decided to try Ubuntu 26.04 LTS hoping for a stable system and it has been thankfully extremely very stable with just this weird bug.
Sorry for taking ur precious time and thanks in advance for all
