Lots of naked triples but none help?

I learned earlier today that 12,13,123 was a naked triple. I was seeing loads so I excitedly rushed back to my puzzle only to find (I think) that none of them helped remove any notes. I'm trying to resist the cheat button here but I can't see any naked doubles or triples that help, nor hidden ones, nor Y-wing or X-wing. I don't think that guarantees there's none there, just that I don't know how to spot them effectively.

Useless pattern?

After a few hundred puzzles, I am noticing certain patterns, but I'm not sure they're useful.

For example, is 13,14,134 in a straight line of any use? My current puzzle has loads. Sometimes it's patterns like 13,134,134.

X-wing or not X-wing?

I thought I had understood X-wing from the simple example on Suduko.com, but in the wild, things are never so easy. Focussing on the number 4, I saw the green cells below and I think I can remove the 4 from the two red cells. However, all the orange cells are also involved in various overlapping X-wings. How do I know which ones would actually count as an X-wing that would allow me to make progress?

I think I've backed myself into a corner and I'm sudoku-blind

I think the clue might be in the various notes with three numbers?

Finally will I learn hidden triples?

I've been clicking through each number for the last 30 minutes. I've gone away and come back. I think I need to grok how hidden doubles and triples work because I suspect that's the next technique for me to move on.

Such with only a moderately hard puzzle

I can't see any naked doubles or triples. I suspect hidden doubles but I find them hard to spot, and I still don't understand hidden triples despite all the YouTube videos and googling I've done. I wonder if someone would point me in the right direction, please?
