Sewing/Quilting Groups in Southern VT

Hi all, like the title says I am in search of a sewing/quilting group in Southern VT- it'd be nice to get out of the house and meet fellow fiber arts enthusiasts. It seems like unfortunately the Twin State Modern Quilting Guild is no longer active (no recent posts to social media, no response to email inquiries). Any suggestions? TIA!

a whole shoal of fish!

Went out of town for 8 days, came back to this! Hard to believe sometimes this was a single tiny cutting just over a year ago.

Well, I'm hooked!

My first epp hexie flower, just using some various scraps I had laying around... safe to say I'm hooked! I found this SO much more relaxing then dragging out and battling a machine. And I love the portability factor! Ive ordered new shapes (coffins) and I can't wait for them to arrive!

Whatever works!

Starting my first EPP project... many a blog or comment recommended squishing the pieces a bit when glue basting to secure or some even used fancy stacking organizers with weights... I didn't want to invest in any extra equipment, lug out the iron, or abuse my poor disabled hands further by hand squishing... so I used a (clean) rock! And its been working beautifully! The basted edges are nice and secure and the fold lines are much crisper. So yes, sometimes you have to buy new equipment... and sometimes all you need a is a good rock!

Almost a year ago I picked up a tiny single stem goldfish plant prop from a local library fundraiser. That single small stem has grown and been prop chopped many MANY times since then, now I have 2 pots with multiple plants each filling out nicely. Today I noticed a spot of color, and lo and behold the very first goldfish flower is coming in!! My family is not near as excited as I am, but I know this sub will appreciate the joy of a thriving happy plant! 😊
