I don't think there is a way to add before spacing in the same way as paragraph formatting. A work around might be to use a soft return or add paragraph after spacing to the paragraph before. But I don't really like these options because they are too easy to mess up if other users are editing the document.
* Bullets can only have one paragraph. This is inconvenient for making documents meet accessibility standards.
* Headings would be better if they were their own data type. They are just a paragraph with an outline level attached. This makes inaccessible headings common.
* Any sort of complex tables can't meet accessibility standards.
* Empty paragraphs shouldn't even be allowed. They mess up formatting and create issues with screen readers.
* There is always an empty paragraph after a table. This can create formatting issues when there is a table at the end of a document.
* Macros are difficult to share in a secure way. Word is basically only usable through a desktop application. This makes it hard to use a tool like office scripts with Word. The only option is to run code on your desktop.
* Style settings are all over the place.
I work at a college as a glorified admin assistant. Our college is really proud of its EDIB initiative and has aboriginal people talk about decolonialism on a really superficial level sometimes.
With the change in us not bringing in many foreign students anymore, is there a way to get through to social liberals that our schools are neocolonial institutions? What's less equal or equitiable than charging foreign students several times what a domestic student pays?
Do you think the situation could be exploited to lower costs for foreign students? Can social liberal labor aristocrats even really be organized?
I'm sort of cynical, but I'm curious what other people's thoughts are. Maybe there is a smart way to get a small win for anti-imperialists, but it is probably far-fetched.
