TOXIC - this movie.. may ruin the Ramayana experience for me!
I genuinely wish Yash had either shelved Toxic altogether or, if the itch was that unbearable, at least pushed it to 2028.
I mean, come on. I'm pretty sure when he signed Ramayana, Toxic was either already being made alongside it or at least cooking in his head. I refuse to believe Toxic was some long-locked passion project that predates Ramayana for Yash (thoda toh decent hokar soch leta) 😭
yes, KGF was full-on chapri entertainment, but it still had a moral core. Toxic, from whatever we've seen and heard, is just... kuchh bhi.
Now, because of Toxic and the kind of scenes it'll have, I will never be able to fully gauge the sheer dynamism, intelligence, contradictions, and complexity of Ravana in Yash.
That said, I'm still going to love & enjoy Ramayan anyhow because I deeply love it, and because I know that the makers have put their heart, soul, and years of effort into this adaptation, and the character development of Ravan will be as deep, meaningful, labyrinthine, and profound as history claims Ravan to be.
Bas mujhe dar hai ki Ramayan dekhte dekhte iske Toxic movie ke sex scenes yaad na aa jaayein baar baar. Ugh!
For me, this is just terrible timing from Yash. Now only an absolutely ferocious, commanding Ravana performance can make me forget this toxic "TOXIC"
