TAG Express Beat PSA Express (April submission)
I originally posted that I had 2 grade submissions going: one with TAG and another with PSA which were both submitted at the 15 day Express tiers. Sent the packages out and aligned them that the deliveries were received April 8, 2026 for both. For context both were Pokemon TCG and had 10 cards in their submissions. Similar cards in each submission, but still different cards. I sent my favorites to TAG for my PC
PSA hit the ground running way sooner than TAG but then stalled at Assembly and QA Checks while TAG started moving way later but was more consistent after they disabled the Basic and Standard tiers to focus on backlog.
And today my TAG order delivered! Shipped yesterday with Fedex 2 days and managed to get to me in 1 day.
29 business days for the 15 business day tier. Aligned with their updated time estimates though doesn't feel great at all.
PSA even announced increase delay on their Express tier to 20-30 days so at this point they are all backed up.
I hope this journey helps those waiting and thinking about grading. I hope both grading companies can be more transparent with their timelines.
My grail card in the order! Had feeling it would get a 9 because of centering but it was so clean otherwise!
