This is what I can't figure out....

So it's fairly clear that the writers want us to hate Drew and Willow. They are probably going more for "love to hate" and doing it poorly, but still. They are meant to be villains.

But do they want us to hate Trina, Joss, Curtis, Jordan, Chase, Justine, etc? They are all technically "good guys." Some are being painted as misguided or just dumb, but I can't imagine they want us to dislike that many characters. So do they not know? Not care? Is it all some mysterious plan? Are they just not able to write likable, complex characters? Can anyone explain this?

Weird question about JJE...

"JJE" is mentioned at least once a minute and while I understand what it stands for, I don't remember Jax's company being called that back when he was on the show. Am I just not remembering correctly? Did they call it something else? Or did they just not refer to Jax's businss as a specific company with a name back then?

Hair department is on point

I know that the character assassination and inconsistent writing can be easy to rant about, but I wanted to mention something our beloved GH is doing seriously right at the moment..... Hair. We can all agree that Carly's mane is shampoo commercial worthy (although I think it's a tad long at the moment). And several cast members are looking sharp. Nina's cute, wavy bob and slightly warmer color looks fab and makes her look 10 years younger than the longer, straight more severe style she's had for awhile. She's gorgeous, and this style finally does her justice. Her makeup looks great too. I'm loving Ava's soft glam curls. Tracy's hair is always fun and I love how they change it up depending on the mood of her scenes. Ezra looked so smarmy before (which I guess was the point) and I couldn't believe how badly he'd aged since he was a teen in AMC, but this new do took 15 years off and the attractive actor I remembered reappeared. You can tell they're getting several of these characters ready for some romance. I appreciate Joss's ponytail and simpler makeup in captivity -- even with soap logic it annoys me when people look too perfect in dangerous situations. Anna's cute new bob is probably more a reflection of the actor's time off, but I'm excited to see what they do with it when she's not in a mental hospital. And can we take a moment to appreciate the eternal youth of Finola Hughes - they're really pulling back to reflect her time institutionalized and she still looks amazing. Kudos to the whole GH hair and makeup team!
