Got my peas today!

They’re just in this little 10g tank for now until my new tank (55g) cycles a bit. But they’re checking everything out and seem happy so far.

Hey everyone, I have three Cory catfish in a 20 gallon tank that has a deep sand base (about 2” or so of aquarium silica sand) their betta fish roommate died a couple of weeks ago from old age. His fins were beautiful and full. I’ve noticed over the last month that the Cory’s front fins are very tiny and their tails seem to be worn down along the side that they rest on the ground. I’m wondering if the sand is acting like sand paper and wearing their fins down? They seem fine otherwise, eating and swimming normally. Just worn down fins. I’m planning on adding some smooth aquarium gravel to one side of the tank floor to see if that helps. But wondered if anyone else has experienced this?
