Is this the infamous ICCU issue I have been reading about?

I was merely just hosing off the front of the vehicle from the first road trip. I then backed it into the garage. While in the house, I sent the remote command to lock the doors and this error appeared.

I am charging it now but it’s not responding at all. Fortunately the doors were not locked.

Error trying to delete Fingerprint

All of a sudden the biometrics (Fingerprint) stopped working. The same result for my wife’s profile as well. So I attempted to delete the profile and received the error “ vehicle controller error. Settings unavailable. Please try again later.”

I was in an area without good cell signal yesterday but thankfully the digital key on my phone worked.

Anybody else run into this issue and have a resolution to delete the fingerprint?

Soon to be EV9 owner (2024) - Dealer "Comprehensive" Extended Warranty Question

We are about to pick up our first EV and it is the 2024 EV9 GT-Line. I have never been a fan of extended warranties offered by the dealer's finance department because everything I read is the markup is tremendous and one can get them on their own after the fact.

We are concerned with making sure that a fully electric rolling computer is covered and we don't have suprise monumental charges.

The car has 16k miles and certified pre-owned. So the 1yr/12k miles bumper to bumper is at play and the remaining 5/60k limited warranty still has 3 years remaining and then the 10yr/100k warranty is still in effect as well. The dealer is selling me on the fact that the electronics, infotainment, HUD, etc are not covered and I should consider it. He even gave us the "friends and family" discount.

Have any of you considered this for your EVs? Your Kia EVs? Should I consider it, but go direct to the retailer and purchase? Which one have you had success with?

Thanks in advance!
