Am I going to get kidnapped?
Ok, so basically, in a few days I [19M, white, American] am going to the solo-traveling to the Phillipines for the first time. A girl I met on FB dating [18F, 10/10] offered to show me around her town and take me to her family home. She seems to be legitimate, and I’ve FaceTimed her before, but the idea of meeting someone off the internet still sounds a little risky. She lives in Leyte, about a 40 minute drive from Ormoc City. I just want to know how likely this is to be a scam or trick of some sort, and how dangerous it is in general to meet girls from dating apps in person? Any advice is appreciated
EDIT: Guys I’m not looking to get married (even if she might be receptive to it). Am I giving her the wrong impression by agreeing to meet her?
