Hello! Writing my PS right now, my whole thing is that I want to do primary care but only for adults which is why I’m applying IM, is it okay to focus my PS on primary care? Worried because I know most people go into IM to subspecalize or do hospitalist
I am going into my 4th year of med school and have been taking out graduate direct unsubsidized and grad plus loans since 1st year. I have to take out one more year then I plan on repaying via PSLF, do I qualify for IBR or am I forced to do RAP? I’m just unsure about the wording of “new federal loans” and then July 1st 2026 cutoff since I have to borrow another round of graduate direct unsub+ grad plus after July 1st.
