My v2 Sentinel mullet setup

My v2 Sentinel mullet setup

upgrades include:

New Reserve HD rims with dt swiss deg df floating hub to reduce pedal kickback with Kryptotal FR enduro soft / Xynotal soft DH tires

Cascade link increases rear travel to ~165mm and adds major bottom out progression for heavy hits

+1 degree headset from works components to keep HTA close to stock with mullet setup

28t oval chainring for when things get steep

anomaly switchgrade seat adjuster for better comfort and weight distribution on long climbs

50mm rise Oneup bars for more upright climbing and descending position

Freedom coast levers for TRP brakes to get a closer bar pull

Rev grips to reduce hand fatigue primarily on bike park days

Went back to cable actuated x01 derailleur after getting sick of GX AXS weak clutch making terrible noise on rough downhills

Only additional upgrade will be 160mm cranks to help reduce pedal strikes given lowered BB

Thoughts on mulleting v2 sentinel?

Currently running full 29 with cascade link and +1 degree headset and stock 165 cranks, can I throw a 27.5 on the rear without any major issues?

I live in SoCal so long winches on fire roads with some technical climbing following by fast, technical, and rocky descents. Also take this bike to the park 5-10 days a year, so it’s my do it all bike.

I def want to maintain pedaling efficiency but think a mullet could be really fun on all my downhill.
