weekend finds!! 👀

on the left: brand new to me / had never seen at my dts b4 ✨

on the right: maaaybe some new-ish stuff but mainly things I caved and finally brought home after seeing yall post and rave! (unless that dry shamp is new? I can’t tell!)

I can’t review a lot of this stuff until my skin calms down (pms/going overboard with trying new things has me broken out baaaadly) but the new River and Rowe line is lovely if you’re into that woody scent. I’m a sweets girlie but it reminds me of my bf and we’re long distance.

It’s a very clean, masculine/gender-neutral scent. The ‘scrub’ is more creamy/oil-like than it is exfoliating, but feels luxe nonetheless.

((also I’m so maxed out on scrubs and lotions 🫠 I think we’ve been spammed with scrubs and lotions this summer lmaooo))

Went to the lowest rated DT within driving distance. I’m shocked.

I found so many things I’d been on the hunt for ALL SUMMER. I have NO clue why this DT has low ratings. It wasn’t well-organized but I mean… that’s nothing new.

I’ve driven all the way to West Palm Beach to the ritzy 90%+ rated stores and meh.

Calling this my fav haul of the season!

I’d never seen the mythical cowgirl mascara, moddess face towels, revive cleansers, the new DEOs, drying paste, hydrating lip masks.

I’m pumped!!

do we like?

so I’ve def fallen in the DT beauty trap lately and have replaced dang near everything over the course of the last few months and do LOVE that my routine is so affordable.

that said, I’ve not ventured out a ton in other areas and would love some great options for things like laundry. the frag booster is just for fun but the borax caught my eye.

my question: what’s the best way to use borax powder?

I ask because my whites and lights have all gotten super dingy this summer washing my clothes in my bf’s washer (don’t get me started, I had no idea he’d never cleaned the damn thing). brand new baby pink Comfrt sweats look five years older than my hoodie (like they don’t even match now) bc they fell victim and it makes me so sad.

I was hoping to soak some of my stuff in the tub with something gentle but powerful enough to lift out some grime.

has anyone used this and found success? if so, do you have advice for best usage?
