Just found out Im BRCA2 positive

I am 34 and just found out I am positive for the BRCA2 gene mutation. Despite preparing myself for the news (or so I thought) I am in shock and am feeling kind of lost.

My husband and I got married last year and our goal is to start trying for a family this fall. We are waiting for certain reasons. I havent seen of many women around my age, or older, who have gotten tested. Most find out younger. Finding out now is terrifying and I know I have a lot of tough decisions to make and I dont have as much time as I would prefer.

Not sure why I am even posting. Guess I just wanted to vent somewhere. The only people I have told are my parents, sister, and husband.
