Very minor edits in darktable (filmic RGB, RGB curve, shadows & highlights), but photos aren't too far from what they're like in camera. Daytime fill flash is pretty fun :)
It's an excellent backup to my film cameras, and the JPEGs out of the camera are like 90% good (I'm still tweaking contrast and "filmic RGB" in Darktable, but that's more personal preference than anything). Still, absolute banger, very grateful mine wasn't dead like I initially thought
I've been meaning to IR-mod one of my point & shoots for a while now, and finally got around to it. The current heat wave makes it hard to convince myself to go on a photo walk, but I figured an especially sunny day was the best time to test this new thing out
I've tried looking at some past posts about this to see if anyone else has run into the same issues, but I can't figure it out:
I'm running a May nightly build on my Innioasis Y1, and the last.fm scrobbler doesn't seem to be working. As far as I can tell it's not generating a .scrobbler.log file anywhere, and the playback.log file Rockbox is generating isn't usable with any scrobbling apps. Am I doing something wrong, or am I looking in the wrong place? I assumed the file would be in /.rockbox, but it doesn't look like it even exists. I've tried manually exporting from the lastfm_scrobbler app as well & I get a message that something is exported, but if it is, I can't see where. Any pointers?
Got my Y1 the other day, and am very happy with it after it's been rockbox-ed. My only worry is the durability: I feel like the plastic will break if I look at it wrong. I've seen some of the transparent plastic cases, but am wondering if there are any better options. If I had access to machining tools I'd definitely make myself a solid metal case, but seeing as how I have neither tools nor skills, I'll settle for the second-best option. Any suggestions?
(alternatively I might just get a dremel & make a nice stained wood case for it...)
