Armin van Buuren dropping classic trance bangers in the [UNVRS] Dome
The other week in Ibiza, Armin van Buuren did a secret vinyl-only set of trance classics.
Bangers from Energy 52, Chicane, Reflekt, The Thrillseekers, and loads more.
It’s unreal so I’m sharing it on here in case people missed it.
AVB’s 25 years of A State of Trance residency is at [UNVRS] on Mondays this season.
7 September to 5 October.

IBIZA DRESS CODES IN 2026: WHAT ACTUALLY GETS YOU IN, WHAT DOESN’T AND WHAT TO WEAR.
I see a lot of people asking about dresscodes for Ibiza clubs, so I thought I’d do a quick run through here, while using it as an opportunity to crowdsource some clubbing fashion recommendations - what are the best items for the 2026 season?
Dress codes
Hï Ibiza, Ushuaïa Ibiza and [UNVRS] all share the same dress code, but there are some considerations to keep in mind between the three venues.
All three venues do not allow:
- Large bags and backpacks.
- Flip-flops, beach shorts, swimwear, or uncovered torsos (no topless men).
- Football or other sports team jerseys.
- Ideological, religious or political flags and attire, or symbols deemed disruptive to the guest experience.
Also across all three: sensible shoes. You will be on a dancefloor for four, five, six hours. Your feet will tell you if you got this wrong.
Ushuaïa Ibiza
Not specifically on the dress code, but remember Ushuaïa Ibiza is an open-air party, so if you go in the afternoon, it’s a good idea to bring a hat and sunglasses. Also hand fans always look great on the dancefloor. The Ushuaïa Ibiza crowd tends to lean more towards the fashionable / glam side of dress. If you go to ANTS on Saturdays, all black everything is the way to go.
Hï Ibiza
I’d recommend going without a jacket, it’s very unlikely you’ll need it. The crowd here leans high-end streetwear. Technical fabrics, clean silhouettes, nothing too loud. Dark colours tend to work well.
[UNVRS]
Similar streetwear energy to Hï Ibiza, but the crowd varies more depending on the night. Anyma's ÆDEN nights on Tuesdays pull a more fashion-conscious, darker aesthetic. elrow on Saturdays is sort of the opposite, lots of colour everywhere. Check who's playing before you decide what you're wearing.
Are you going to Ibiza this summer? What wardrobe essentials are you packing?
MELODIC TECHNO FANS, RUN DON’T WALK TO ANYMA AT [UNVRS]
Last night was the opening party for Anyma’s new residency ÆDEN and can I just say WOW. I got there just after midnight, in time to catch the end of Notre Dame. The [UNVRS] main room was completely transformed with huge greek columns lining each side of the room with what looked like ropes draped between them, turning it into a literal temple of techno.
Next up was Mathame who were cooking things up nicely, before Argy pushed the tempo up, dropping one of my favourite melodic techno tracks, ‘Melodia’ with Meduza. Around 3pm it was time for the main event as Anyma took over. What a rollercoaster, needless to say the music was insane, we got ‘Bad Angel’, ‘Beautiful’ and all the big Anyma anthems. The visuals really came alive during Anyma’s set. Those ropes between the columns, actually they’re neon cables and they burst into life during his set. Those small cracks in the columns? Also lights. The roof? A series of massive screens making it seem like you’re looking through the roof of the building into the night sky. After the solo set, Argy came back on stage for a b2b with Anyma that kept us glued to the floor until closing.
Honestly ÆDEN is such an impressive show. It had everything: giant techno angels, indoor lightning storms, a dancing medusa, a man falling through space and time. Every visual was more breathtaking than the last.
Did any of you make it down to the opening? It was one of my best nights on the island so far! If you have any photos or videos from the night drop them below.

Opening week is absolutely stacked this year: here's what's on at our venues if you're around! [1–7 June 2026]
Jess here from The Night League, so I might be a bit biased, but genuinely think this week's lineup is one of the strongest opening weeks we've had. Quick breakdown:
[UNVRS] - Each day is an Opening Party:
John Summit kicked things off on Monday (Experts Only), FISHER is back on Thursday, Galactic Circus with David Guetta on Friday, and elrow closes opening week on Saturday.
Hï Ibiza - Almost every night has something.
- Theatre highlights: Francis Mercier's Solèy Opening Monday, East End Dubs B2B Skepta at Eastenderz Opening on Tuesday, MEDUZA & James Hype Wednesday, HUGEL Opening Thursday, Dom Dolla Opening Friday, Black Coffee Saturday, Mestiza Sunday.
- Club Room is more underground all week - Andrea Oliva Opening Monday, Paco Osuna Opening Tuesday, OFFWEEK Wednesday, Miss Monique Opening Thursday, Ewan McVicar's Club Knuckles Friday, Skepta's Más Tiempo Saturday, Indira Paganotto Sunday.
Ushuaïa Ibiza - Daytime/sunset, doors at 5pm. David Guetta's first FMIF of the year Monday, Tomorrowland x Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike Wednesday, Calvin Harris Friday, ANTS Saturday, and I Love Reggaeton Closing Sunday.
It's opening week so everything's going to be electric regardless. If you're only picking one, FISHER Thursday at [UNVRS] or Black Coffee Saturday at Hï Ibiza are the no-brainers imo.
Any questions about the venues, drop them below.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE CLUBBING IN IBIZA
Book tickets in advance - you always get the best deals on tickets by planning ahead and buying directly from the club websites.
Wear sensible shoes - you will be dancing for a LONG time, wear a pair of (not too) nice trainers, preferable in BLACK or dark colours, trust me you will regret repping a pair of box-fresh white trainers.
Plan travel ahead of time - taxi, disco bus, public transport. Make sure you know where you’re going and how to get there, plus how to get back! Some clubs, like Hï Ibiza and Ushuaïa Ibiza are literally beside each other so you can do two in one night (if you have the stamina).
The main rookie error - going too hard too fast can ruin your holiday, aim for a slow build with plenty of rest time. Don’t spend all day on the beach and all night in the club for three days, your body will thank you
Explore all of the club, not just the main room - most clubs offer so much more than just the main room, Hï Ibiza has a full blown art gallery, [UNVRS] has a secret tunnel under the dancefloor, there’s always something for people looking for more than just music.
Try daytime clubbing - not a night owl? No problem, Ibiza has you covered. Ushuaïa Ibiza opens at 5pm and runs through sunset to around 11. Being on the open-air dancefloor under the sun with your favourite DJs is one of the most unique aspects of Ibiza.
Anyone here going to Black Coffee at UNVRS on Wednesday?
Any predictions for his set time / how many hours he’ll play? Trying to mentally prepare already 😂
