Hey all - so I finally finished my version of a “proper” enclosure system for the Flipper Zero 3-in-1 multiboard. One click of the Publish button later, here we are.

This is a full protective system: multiboard shell/case + pin protector dock setup + antenna storage + SMA connector caps for the ESP32/nRF24/CC1101 multiboards floating around AliExpress/Tindie/etc.

Background:

As some of you may remember, I mentioned I was working on this thing here a loooong time ago. I've owned my F0 for years, exploring the world with it at my side, working on projects and interacting with the community, and I figured it was time I made a contribution of my own.

What was supposed to be “I’ll just make a quick case for this” turned into almost a year of redesigns, reprints, tweaking tolerances, and generally overengineering the shit out of it.

Features:

• labeled SMA ports/buttons/switch positions
• GPIO pin protection
• integrated antenna storage
• TPU SMA caps
• access to USB-C, microSD, TX/RX switch, etc.

Pretty proud and happy with where it finally landed, and I'd love any feedback and suggestions you guys may have.

So, I’m hearing about a bunch of different glasses being announced- I’m about to get a pair of Displays, but now in light of the incoming competitors I find myself wondering if I shouldn’t hold off for the new wave.

Thoughts? Dive in on Display, or wait for other products to come out and compare? And while I do make good money, $800-1,000 isn’t exactly “meh” speculative spending territory these days, so I’d rather see what’s out there. BUT I really do want a pair of Displays after having my Meta Gen 1’s forever and loving them.

(Note: I also own a Quest 3 and a pair of XREAL One Pros)

Any idea what the changes are?

I’m trying to purchase Displays with prescription lenses using the QR code link I was given after my try-on session, but when trying to pay with my FSA card, I’m getting an error with my payment.

I input my rx and all, double-checked my card number and info, and nothing.

Any suggestions?

Just got my little dude a few days ago, and so far it’s been pretty fun!

However, the speech to text seems a little janky and the animations etc. are a bit choppy. I’m assuming this will be fixed and improved as the firmware is debugged and improved.

What bums me out a bit, is just how quickly it just falls asleep and turns off if it’s not interacted with.

How is this supposed to be a “desk pet” if it turns off within, what, ~10-15 minutes of no interaction? That kinda sucks, in my opinion.

Has anyone found or seen a way to prevent this from happening?
