I keep seeing extended meta mentioned in comments here but I dont understand what it is. Are there any surgeons in the US that do extended meta?

I am just barely starting to research whether metoidioplasty would be a good option for me and have been perusing this sub. I am wondering though--what is generally the purpose of a monsplasty in relation to meta? Thanks for the help!
