Building an open-source, privacy-first alternative to TV Time

With TV Time shutting down, I've been building a free and open-source movie/TV tracker as an alternative.

What it does:

  • Track what you've watched, rate it, keep a watchlist
  • Browse and explore movies/shows (powered by TMDB)
  • Import your TV Time GDPR export directly — no manual re-entry
  • Your data stays yours: everything is stored locally on your device, with optional encrypted backup to your own Google Drive. No account on my servers, no ads, no tracking.

It's fully open-source, and will stay that way.

Still in active development, aiming to have a testable build ready in the next 2 weeks. Will share here as soon as it's out — if you're interested in trying it early, drop a comment.
