Hi all, and hope your summers are going well! My spouse is one of the directors of the overnight camp he works at. He’s been at this camp for 3 years, and has been in the field as a whole his whole career. This summer, I was able to work things out with my own boss so that I can work remotely and spend the summer at camp with them—which I am very grateful for. (In the past, I have only been able to pop in and out of camp sporadically, and the long distance was hard, especially on a camp schedule). However, being an adult at camp who doesn’t work for the camp is a weird position to be in, and I was hoping to connect with others in similar situations. Does anyone know of any communities/subreddits/forums/anything for Spouses/Partners of camp directors?
