I love how smoothly the landing gear retracts, but they always come out like this and end up getting stuck. Any advice?

So, yesterday I was building an amphibious tank when out of nowhere my blocks started spinning and getting into IMPOSSIBLE positions. I couldn't get out and I was stuck there.

I have a project about World War II animals, a project I'm doing with my girlfriend, but she doesn't play Trailmakers. I don't know how to make submarines and I don't know how to add variety to the ships and vehicles. They're based on the period between 1940 and 1960. I need ideas and friends to help me (I don't have any friends who like Trailmakers) Almost all vehicles have the same restrictions, but some vary; they are based on the animals and abilities they possess, etc.
