Tips for Dealing with Body Dysmorphia
I (22M) have had Keloids on my face and upper body since highschool from acne. I got injections and right now I use eclar plasters when I can. But, I just feel disgusted by my body.
Why would I bother working out or losing weight if my scars are still there? It might be because I have ADHD, but I'll randomly just think about my keloids for like 30 mins and completely ruin my own day 😭
Whenever I hear encouragement from others, it's honestly so hard for me to believe them, I just kind of shake it off, believing that they're only saying that cuz they're my friends or just trying to be nice. How do I get over myself?
