Some of it is classic haunting material. Some stops have no ghost story at all because the documented history is heavy enough on its own.

It's a mix. Documented history, attested hauntings, and urban legends the city has told for decades, each labeled as what it is. When something is folklore, the narration says so. When it's in the archives, you hear the record.

I got permission where I could, treaded lightly or cut anything involving living victims, and disasters are told as factual record, not entertainment. Some places in this city are deliberately not in the tour. Nothing is invented. I live here, I drove every route myself before launch, and I wrote it as someone who thinks New West is the most interesting city in the Lower Mainland by a wide margin. Fellow fantasy nerd. I got tired of eyeballing box scores every morning to figure out which starts were actually good, so I built Toe the Slab https://toetheslab.com/. It grades every start with a context-adjusted Game Score (park factors, opponent quality, whiff and velo context) displayed on the 20-80 scouting scale, then tracks rolling form for every starter and ranks tomorrow's matchups before first pitch.

Things it does that I haven't seen elsewhere:

Every score's full additive breakdown is public. Click any start and see exactly why it graded what it graded, line by line, with the formula on the methodology page.

Scores freeze then a start settles. No silent revisions.

When a start hits the 80 cap, we show the raw score underneath. Misiorowski's 15 K complete game in June was a 111.3 raw, which is the best start of the season by a mile.
