Hi! I have 2 doses left of my 5mg pen. I’ve been on it for quite some time and would like to step it up. Thinking of trying 6.25mg as every time I’ve gone up a full level it’s floored me so hoping a gradual increase will help.

I have a week off work next week (unrelated - it’s half term haha) so would be a great opportunity to move up a bit in case of any major side effects.

I’ve read about taking the full 5mg dosage, leaving the needle in and then turning a few extra clicks and then pressing down again to get 6.25, to avoid possibly contamination by injecting twice.

Is that the best way? Am I being silly and should just use up the 5mg? How many clicks to get the extra 1.25 if I do a second dose please?
