Context: The scorecard shows the score for the 1st test match of a 2-match test series played between New Zealand and India in 2003. The first match was played in Ahmedabad and the second match was played in Chandigarh. Both the matches were drawn.

In 2024, the Indian General Assembly Elections took place. Prior to the elections, Narendra Modi and his party Bharatiya Janata Party had campaigned with a tagline saying "Ab ki baar 400 paar" meaning that this time they would cross 400 seats as they were confidently expecting the same landslide victory which they had achieved in 2014 and 2019. However they failed to cross the 400 seats mark as they could secure only 240 seats. So they had to form a coalition government with Telugu Desam Party and Janata Dal (United) to cross the majority mark.
