Repeat Breeding, failed AI, looking for treatment options

Repeat Breeding, failed AI, looking for treatment options

My HF calved in October 2025. She has shown no signs of heat till January 25th 2026. AI failed.

Did not show signs of heat till May 27th, AI failed again

Next heat was 21st June 2026..AI failed again.

The cow is open. In researching for options I found this table. Is this a Good treatment option?

I'm also looking to add add Vitamin A, Vitamin D3, Vitamin E, and Nicotinamide, Zinc, Copper, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Iodine, and Cobalt mix with the feed.

PS: The small dairy farm is in a remote location in India and the vet's around seem to be just guessing with no consistent solution so I'm searching for a best solution on my open.

Do you need to hand milk cow after the machine

I'm new to dairy farming. I set up a farm in India, but I live in the US. I am trying to bring in newer ways of managing dairy and move away from the traditional "My grandparents did it this way..."

After milking a cow with the machine, do you also need to hand-milk in order to remove some leftover milk? This is a practice in India, however, here in US I have not heard of anyone doing so. Is it dependent on the milking machine?
