After a dominating year, Truex held off a hard charging Kyle Busch for his first and only Cup title for the little team that blossomed into a powerhouse: Furniture Row Racing. Furniture Row would only continue to exist through the 2018 season before closing their doors due of rising costs of their JGR alliance, leading Truex to finish out his full time career in the 19.

SVG ran this scheme in the 2025 Chicago Street Course Xfinity race, making a late race pass on his JRM teammate, rookie phenomenon Connor Zilisch for the win. This is the only race Gisbergen would run this scheme as his other starts would come with other partners like Kubota and Quad Lock as the primary. This was the second consecutive Xfinity series race he won here, marking three straight years he won there across the top two series.
