Early morning tea. Shan Lin Xi in my Yixing teapot on a quiet and hot July 4th.

It is a beautifully quiet morning this morning and I am enjoying Shan Lin Xi Oolong from Eco-Cha. The tea is delicately floral with a buttery mouthfeel. I wanted to take advantage of the sun slowly creeping in.

Huang Guanyin (Yellow Goddess) Wuyi Rock Oolong

This is a new tea to me. Beautiful red/amber color with a caramel with very slight floral notes and almost berry flavor. Does not linger long in the mouth but very enjoyable. It is not quite an oolong tea and not quite a black tea so it is rather unique with features of both those teas. I purchased it from Teavivre for those who are interested.

Ali Shan Oolong with new Cha Hai

Enjoying an Ali Shan Oolong from Eco-Cha. It has a floral and rich fragrance. The tea is floral, buttery, and sweet honeysuckle. The mouthfeel is very soft and almost delicate. The sweetness lingers in your mouth for a while after.
I also got to try out my new cha hai and am loving the colors!

Is it just me or is tea better outside?

Drinking a nonpareil Li Shan oolong out on my deck and every infusion has been wonderful. Very floral and delicate. Significantly more flavorful than drinking inside. Anyone else have the experience?

Morning tea

A nice Nonpareil Li Shan Oolong from Taiwan in my Yixing. The tea I has a mild floral, honey, and buttery taste. I really like the mouthfeel but prefer Ali Shan and more floral oolongs.
