Observation about this particular bottle used for beverages sold at African establishments
Be it in Harlem or not, every time I’m at an African restaurant or vendor or street seller, (usually west African) they always have beverages in this particular kind of square-ish bottle. It’s always the case regardless of the beverage. But the most common beverages are Bissap, Ginger, and Bouyé/Baobab.
Does anyone know why this is the case? I rarely see this bottle outside of this context.
