Tickets are supposed to release at noon EST today! Does anyone have any insider info on if Alamo will be doing a big show screening on 12/15?
EDIT: The DC alamos released their tickets, no Tuesday screening but they are splitting big show with Doomsday for opening week!
The DC metro area Alamos have implemented a hybrid approach to the QR code ordering, where the QR system is in use before the movie but it switches to pen and paper once the movie starts. I do like this system, and I haven’t had too many issues with it, with the exception of one thing:
Ordering water
Every time I’m at a showing I’ll order a water with lemon. I’ll occasionally order food or a drink as well, but every single time I order a water. 4 out of 5 times the water doesn’t come out. Anything that I pay for always comes out, I’ve never had an issue with that, but I’m just confused about why there are so many issues with getting a water. It’s gotten to a point where I pre-write an order card saying that my water never came out as soon as I order it, because about 80% of the time I’ll need to raise the card to get it.
Are there any Alamo employees in this sub that might know why this happens?
