Which is the best language to read the count of Monte Cristo?

I've always wanted to know what all the buzz is about around this book because everyone swears up and down that it's just that good but I thought I'd ask. French is my second native language and I've read thousands of books in french at this point but I fear that if I do start reading TCOMC in french it'll turn out to be ye olde français iykwim and I could probably make do with that but I want to know, was the English translation easier for you guys? More enjoyable? And what's the best translation in your opinion?

A summer homework book from 4th grade

So it's about a girl living in France under German occupation, it shows her day to day life, I remember her being into this guy who I think was a family friend but obviously to the reader a german spy, she rose his motorcycle at some point, he was too old for her as is often the case in french literature. If that rings a bell for anyone please let me know because I can't remember the title at all! Not even the author

Ruptured pilonidal cyst

So for about a week I think I had a pilonidal cyst because I had a hard lump under my skin in that area that was making it hard to sit down, stand up, and sleep. Yesterday I had to take a long trip in a bus to the mountains then back to my home for a pilgrimage with my catholic school yk how it goes but I was uncomfortable sitting down the whole time, plus I was on my period so this was my personal hell.

Okay maybe tmi but when I got back home I asked my mom to take a look at it bc damn something wasn't normal and I was right there was some light greenish pus that surfaced, like it was already out on its own, maybe because I sat on it in weird ways but so my mom proceeded to take everythingggg out there was a lot and by the end it sprayed some blood and then nothing, neither blood more pus. A huge pressure was lifted she cleaned it up and applied fusidic acid, there was no wound apparently it's just the tiny ruptured hole. Then I'm pretty sure I had a vasovagal syncope in the kitchen but we dealt with that.

Next morning I woke up with no pain at all and no feeling of discomfort sitting down, no signs of redness or swelling cause there's pretty much no wound, my mom tried squeezing it again but it was just some blood and a tiny amount of pus. During the day she tried squeezing again but still nothing came out and I feel pretty much no pain. I'm keeping it clean and applying fusidic acid I don't really know if I should start antibiotics but I feel like so far so good. What signs should I keep monitoring beyond like redness swelling and oozing and what makes for an immediate need to go to the hospital? So far there's none of the signs that I know I should look for but please let me know

Is DelfB2 valid after 2 years

Hello! I have taken the DELFB2 exam in 2021-2022 and passed but I'm wondering if it's even accepted in Canada, or if it's accepted past two years. I know that DelfB2 is valid for a lifetime but I don't know if that validity still applies for Canada, does anyone have an answer for it?
